Navigators Community Mental Health Outreach Service provides assessment, intervention, supportive counseling, service coordination, education and practical skill building for adults and families to manage crisis and regain mental health, wellness and independence in community life. Services are outcome based and client goal directed for those experiencing major life changes, problems in living and mental illness including depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse issues, PTSD, operational stress injuries and borderline personality disorder.
Services are psycho social rehabilitation based and are provided in home visits, in the community or in an office setting. Services are flexible, adaptable and suited to client’s goals for wellness, recovery and improved quality of life.
Assistance and the skills to navigate system resources is also provided in addition to referrals and linkages to treatment providers and community resources.
Navigators also provides confidential consults to employers and workshops on creating healthy work teams and workplace environments.
:: Jan Neumann is a registered social worker with 24 years of experience in Community Mental Health, Family Violence and Trauma. Jan is authorized by the Alberta College of Social workers to provide Psycho social interventions and rehabilitation. Navigators is a fee for service program covered by most major insurance companies and benefit plans. A sliding fee scale is also available. ::
